Woo, gas fired hot water boiler remedy! My installation is rated for 104,000 BTU/hour. As an exercise, I leave it to you to convert that to kW. The exercise is now complete and I can reveal that it's 30.47 kW. That's a lot of zeal! For comparison, my house seems to peak at a little over 6 kW from normal electrical loads like the dryer, stove, hairdryers, etc. So, at max, my standard gas-fired boiler can crank out 5x the power my electrical system needs. Unfortunately, I don't have any way of monitoring the actual output of the boiler except with my gas meter. And how do I transmogrify from kWh to m^3 of NG?
